Storyboarding the Music Video

Scene 1- The opening scene will begin with all the actors meeting up in front of a house as everyone is being picked up to go to Santa's enchanted forest.

Scene 2- A establishing shot of the opening entrance to the fair. This scene will show the setting of the music video and will help

Scene 3- The actors will walk down "Mistletoe Lane" as the enter the forest and begin to explore. Will use a wide shot to capture the entire street and environment.

Scene 4- This shot will continue with the exploration as it sets up the scene following

Scene 5 - We will use tracking shots to track the actors as they go on their first ride. This will be used to show how fun Christmas events can be and will be shown to emphasize holiday spirit                         Scene 6 This will be to actors on the ride. This will be a medium close shot of the actors riding the Merry go round.

Scene 7- After the Merry go round We take a three shot of the actors walking away from the ride. Still exploring Santa's enchanted forest we use this scene to show how happiness can be created from this holiday.

Scene 8- In this scene we will wait in the line to greet Santa. This scene is helpful for the video because it adds the effect of Christmas with Santa. ( If needed we can replace this scene with us eating food instead)

Scene 9- Comes down to a two shot between Santa and the  actor that decided to meet with him. This whole interaction creates a good feeling mixed with the effect of Santa on Christmas.

Scene 10-  After meeting Santa we start with a low angle and the archway leading to the Tallest Christmas Tree in Florida. This will be the final scene and could also be seen as an Establishing shot

Scene 11 - Under the archway all the actors will be shown with excitement and joy as this is the main highlight that Santa's Enchanted Forest Advertises. This will most likely be a point of view angle, or a close up

Scene 12- The final scene showing the "Tallest Tree in Florida". This final scene will be a pan which will show the entirety of the tree as well as all the actors. The goal of this shot is to put a strong emphasize on how magical Christmas really is.

No One Likes a Third Wheel, But Now We’re a Car!

For the previous projects, I have continuously worked with Joshua Newell and Aidan Jones. I have found that working with them has produced consistently good work. We are able to communicate well and our schedules coincide, allowing us to get a lot of work done. While all of this is true, our group decided to add another member to the mix. We have decided to team up with Randy Sweeting.     There were several reasons why we wanted to add another member to the group. Most of them came from our last project. When filming the music video, we had trouble splitting the work load. It was a bigger project than the first, and we wanted to include more actors. This posed a challenge to the three of us, because we would all have to be present on camera. Additionally, we wanted a different perspective. The three of us agree on a lot of things. As a result, we sometimes miss out on better ideas or more efficient practices because we are so likeminded.  ...

Get Your Popcorn.. Let’s Watch A Movie

Now that the group has chosen what genre and concept we want our final project to be, it’s time to watch a few films that follow the conventions of the sports genre. Today’s film will be Creed 2, directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Michael B. Jordan alongside Sylvester Stallone. What elements (Conventions) of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this  movie have?   The elements of this picture that relate to our genre would be that it is louder, grander, and greater than the first one. By maintaining an emphasis on the humanity of its main characters, it is able to correct itself. More than any punch delivered in the ring, whether Rocky will see his son again and the tribulations of the recent Creed couple are the subjects of greater suspense. The boxing scenes are fascinating and fun. Also, it gives fans a feast of entertainment.  What elements (Conventions) of the genre did the movie have that you like?  I enjoy how Adonis and Viktor...

On the Nice List

Upon further inspection, our footage wasn’t as bad as I described. We had a lot of salvageable shots. As a result, we are going to keep the footage we have already taken. However, we are going to go back to the park to take some simple shots to make the beginning less choppy. Thankfully, we won’t have to pay to be in the area of the park we have to film this at.  Plans to reshoot went well. We got the basic shots we needed to fill out certain spots in the video. Now, it’s time to edit. We choose to split up the work between us. This was to ensure that each of us had a say in the vision for the video. Splitting the work also alleviates the burden of editing it all by one’s self.  Unfortunately, the equipment I was using didn’t allow me to work with computer software to edit the video. The laptop I had was broken and unreliable, so I went back to the editing software I used in the previous project. I started by putting all the takes we took in a big project and muting each...
